Boryeong Mud Festival: the Event You Absolutely Must Visit Before You Die!

Over its 20 years of history, Boryeong Mud Festival has grown from a local fair to an international event it is now. Millions of people have visited the “dirty games” held every July in a provincial city of Boryeong, and more and more people are including BMF into their lists of must-visit festivals in the world.

Brightside has placed Boryeong Mud Festival as number 13 in its “15 Crazy Festivals Around the World You Must Visit”. With the mud games, dancing, partying and enjoying healthy mud packs, BMF is indeed a crazy event that everyone has to visit to believe!

Whether you are an ESL teacher or a tourist – does not matter, BMF welcomes guests of all professions, ages and nationalities! The Travel Insider has also called Boryeong Mud Festival a “mud-nificent” experience where dirty marathons, obstacle courses and night beach parties come together to create the best fun you can have in July in its “The 2018 Festival Bucket List You Can’t Resist”.

Prague Post has also included Boryeong Mud Festival into 2018 event bucket list, alongside Coachella, Oktoberfest and Rio De Janeiro Carnival – those are, after all, the “Best Festivals Around The World In 2018”!

Redbull went even further and included Boryeong Mud Festival into “101 Best Travel Adventure Around the World” – putting South Korea on any respectful traveler’s list in 2018.
